John Durbin is a multi instrumentalist who got his start playing music in the Denton TX space rock scene in the early 90's. After his first band "Thorazine Dreams" broke up, he became part of a 2 piece electro dub outfit known as "Kief on Texas Toast." Although these early acts were amazing attempts nothing was completely realized due to falling into the black hole of drug addiction. John relocated to Abilene TX to clean up his act. This is when he started creating eclectic styles of music on his own establishing the moniker JuanSOLO.
He got a job doing animation here in Shreveport at Moonbot Studios in 2010.
He continues to make music at home as well as DJ under the name JuanSOLO.
He also plays in an electronic band with his friend of 32 years, they are known as "Personal Victories"
In the last 3 years he has been working hard on building a music performance rig which is almost complete.
Expect a lot more music to come out of his studio here in Shreveport.
